AD4E presents an online workshop November 28th – 9.30-11.30 GMT

Play and Family therapist Elsha Young explores how the Internal Family Systems model can be used with aspects of play therapy to support children, young people and their families in a safe, creative and relational way.

Elsha will explore therapeutic frameworks, including the Internal Family Systems model, and Synergic Play Therapy (using play, art, toys, games, sand tray) with a real emphasis on safety and how we can best ensure that the person being supported has a sense of autonomy and agency.

She will use confidential case examples to demonstrate aspects of the above and it promises to be a creative, strengths based, trauma informed and non-pathologising training experience.

The workshop is primarily directed at therapeutic and support professionals who work with children, adolescents, and families but it may be of interest to others who are supporting people outside of a professional role.

This workshop will be recorded for those who can’t attend live and a CPD certificate for 2 hours will be available afterwards.
