Michael P. Hengartner, PhD, is senior researcher and lecturer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a qualification for professorship in medicine. His main research interests are psychopathology, psychosomatics, psychiatric epidemiology, social psychiatry, and clinical psychology. He is married and father of three children.
