John Fox

John has a BA in Cultural Studies from Norwich University of the Arts, an MA in Art and Film from the University of Essex and a PhD in Art History, also from Essex. He is a lifelong sufferer of depression but has always avoided contact with the mental health system. He is interested in the potential of art, literature and film to help develop new ideas about psychological distress. He is currently a live-in carer looking after his elderly mother, pursuing independent research.
