Hazel Amanda Jones

1 POSTS 0 COMMENTS
Hazel Jones has been a freelance counsellor for many years. Her first husband deserted the family and left them homeless. This brought her into contact with the psychiatric services, initially as a patient (with a broken heart). It was then that she met Dr A after which she believed that psychiatry was about talking to people to help them cope with life. Such adverse circumstances were eventually faced with courage and fortitude, but there were many other hurdles to overcome, until she realised the dream of becoming a counsellor who helped others to help themselves. This book describes one of those many episodes. Perhaps there could be other books in the future.
