Ruth Dixon

Ruth is a performance poet and counsellor whose mother was incorrectly diagnosed over a many decades in psychiatric services. Ruth has lived experience of “postnatal depression” and more recently of supporting her daughter through a diagnosis of “anorexia nervosa.” She has a particular interest in transgenerational trauma and is passionate about new approaches to mental health support in the UK and abroad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vB7tANU3ouc
