I have been an NHS service survivor for the last two and a half decades. I have a diagnosis of ‘Borderline Personality Disorder’. I do not agree with the validity of this diagnosis. I endured prolonged childhood sexual, physical and emotional abuse. I am an activist who campaigns to drop the diagnosis of ‘Personality Disorder’. I have been re-abused and re-traumatised by the very system that is supposed to ‘support’ me. My diagnosis of ‘BPD’ and all that comes with it mirrors the CSA I survived. I’m a human being!
